The Amsterdam Museum would love to invite the Ivy Circle members back again!
This time, we have the pleasure of joining the festive opening of the Women of Amsterdam – An ode exhibition at the Amsterdam Museum on the Amstel.The exhibition is a tribute to the indispensable role women have played in the stories of our city, and will be opened by Mayor Femke Halsema. With the project, the Amsterdam Museum enriches the city’s history by collecting odes to women who have shaped Amsterdam into what it is today. Hundreds of odes and new research have resulted in an exhibition that is moving, thought-provoking, and calls for the writing of even more odes to women who deserve a place in the story of Amsterdam.
During the opening, ode writers will read their odes, creators will speak about their work in the exhibition, and there will be special performances and workshops. |
