Hollis Kurman


Hollis graduated summa cum laude, phi beta kappa from Penn with a BA in International Relations and French; followed by an MSFS in International Affairs from the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service (Weintal Merit Scholar). She has been Chair of the Ivy Circle Board since 2012 (having served in the IC Advisory Board). Hollis' other Board memberships include(d) the Fulbright Center, Barrow Street Books publishing, the TransAtlantis platform dedicated to US-NL relations, and Human Rights Watch (HRW NL Committee founder and HRW Global Women’s Rights Advisory Council member). She is also a poet and children’s books author. Her debut children's book, about child refugees, will be published by Otter-Barry Books (UK) in 2020 with an Amnesty International endorsement. Hollis built her career as an international advisor in growth strategy, innovation and co-creation, first with McKinsey & Co. and then as Founder and Managing Director of two international consultancies, Publicis Consultants and Auberon Consultants. She is now a writer, moderator, Board member, human rights advocate and education enthusiast. She is especially dedicated to supporting young people and women of all backgrounds.
