Harvard Business School event: Cyber Security 25 April

    On April 25th you will be guided into the world of cyber security by our guest speakers Jaya Baloo and Remco Verhoef.

     

    Jaya Baloo is Chief Information Security Officer at KPN Telecom in the Netherlands and worked in the information security arena for the past 18 years. Her focus has been on secure network architecture design, and she has completed projects ranging from law interception, mass surveillance to cryptography.

    She will speak about her experience in the field of information security and her current experiences and challenges. 

     

    Remco Verhoef, co-founder of DutchSec and so-called "white-hacker", will speak about machine learning, big data and online security and the challenges they bring. Remco's startup DutchSec delivers intelligent cyber security services and products that are developed by using various big data and machine learning techniques. Their team of ethical hackers help organizations of every size to develop products to protect themselves against cyber-attacks.

     

    Our host of the evening will be Eric Schwartz, HBS MBA ’89-’91. He is President EMEA at Equinix, the world’s leading data center company. We will be hosted at their HQ in Amsterdam.
