The Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Tribute Dinner

    “Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.”–Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

    Organized by Overseas Americans Remember (OAR), the the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Tribute Dinner will take place 5:30-8pm Sunday, February 12th at Nieuwspoort in The Hague. The tribute will feature Rev. Klinefelter, who worked for Dr. King for 3 years, and Lois Mothershed Pot, who was the first Black student in her university and the first Black president of the Christian Students Union. The evening will also feature jazz singer Adrienne West. Lyric soprano Liat Alkan will also direct the student singing group, The Messengers. The American Ambassador to the Netherlands, the Honorable Shefali Razdan Duggal will share her thoughts.
