March 7: Video premiere & panel discussion

    Join Penn Professor Simon Richter in Amsterdam for the premiere of his new video on the climate futures of Jakarta and the Netherlands. Thanks to his animated avatar known as Dr Poldergeist, Simon Richter has become a bit of a celebrity in Dutch water and climate adaptation circles. He recently appeared in a VPRO documentary with Nicolaas Veul called “De Klimaatverkenner”.

    Dr Poldergeist Presents: How do the climate futures of Jakarta and the Netherlands compare?
    Video premiere with Simon Richter, joined by members of his Penn Global Seminar and a panel discussion with special guests: Tracy Metz, director of the John Adams Institute; Danielle Hirsch, director of Both ENDS; Kadir van Lohuizen, award-winning photographer. The event will be conducted in English.
