Philip Viergutz is a Partner at GP House in Amsterdam, where he leads execution of GP stakes and buyout co-investment transactions across Europe, and serves on the firm’s Investment Committee. Prior to co-founding GP House, Philip was a Managing Director in New York at AlpInvest Partners, the private equity primaries, secondaries and co-investments arm of The Carlyle Group. At Carlyle AlpInvest, he was responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and executing numerous private equity secondary investments in Europe and later leading fundraising activities in the Americas. Philip received a BSE in Operations Research and Financial Engineering from Princeton University and an MBA from INSEAD. He is an American, French, and Swiss national. He currently serves as President of the Princeton Alumni Association of The Netherlands, and volunteers as an Alumni Schools Committee interviewer, as well as fundraiser for the university’s Annual Giving campaigns.
